Working with a thermal imaging camera

We provide thermal scanning of buildings using a thermal camera that can reveal hidden defects. 
We can reveal significant heat leaks, the formation or state of moisture in the building and hidden dangerous electrical wiring faults. 
The goal of thermal scanning a building is to save on heating costs, improve comfort at home and, last but not least, to improve the safety of the whole building.

• If faults are found, we can usually remove them or recommend a way to repair them.
• A dry and insulated house without damp masonry, thermal bridges or condensation points is a guarantee of economical and comfortable living!

Thermal scanning of buildings:

• Reveals heat leaks and losses – saves on heating bills, improves comfort

Scanning thermal bridges and losses:

• Using a thermal camera we can reveal major heat leaks in your building from the cellars to the roof. This enables you to carry out the relevant measures to prevent heat leaks from the building and significantly reduce heating costs!
• We reveal thermal bridges and condensation points in your building, which are thermal defects and can cause thermal losses, including possible increased moisture and thermal discomfort

Reveals hidden defects in electricity distribution boards that can cause fires:

• Thermal imaging reveals faults in electricity distribution boards that might not be evident at first glance. Such faults can lead to house fires with fatal consequences. Detection of moisture entering a building and its removal:
• We reveal places in a building where rising damp occurs. We focus on places with thermal bridges and reveal condensation points in walls. In the majority of cases we can remove such defects in a modern, electronic way without drilling or other construction work.

Building heating:

• We reveal how the heat is distributed inside walls and under flooring. We show their shape and location. This is useful information for reconstruction or repair work (we can discover whether the heating system is functional – temperature difference).

Technical report and recommendations:

• We will prepare a technical report on the condition of the thermal insulation in your building, the condition of distribution boards, and the level of moisture in your building. We will recommend or directly carry out any appropriate measures. The technical report will contain all photographic documentation acquired with the camera.

Price for a whole-building scan:

• The price for a complete thermal scan (external and internal) of a family house from the cellar to the roof is CZK 3 000 incl. VAT (cellar, downstairs, upstairs, roof, electrical distribution board) + transport
• The price for a complete thermal scan of an apartment building from the cellar to the roof + selected apartments as needed is from CZK 4 500 incl. VAT depending on the size of the building and the number of floors and apartments (cellar, ground floor, other floors, roof, electrical distribution board) + transport
• The price for a complete thermal scan of other structures from the cellar to the roof is from CZK 2 500 incl. VAT depending on the size of the structure and the number of floors and apartments (cellar, ground floor, other floors, roof, electrical distribution board) + transport
• If a scan of only part of a structure is needed (e.g. to find pipes, electrical distribution boards, only the cellar etc.) we calculate the price depending on the size of the building. The minimum price is CZK 1 000 incl. VAT + transport
• Transport is billed at CZK 12 incl. VAT/km from the company and back. Transport is billed by agreement for clients when included with the installation of a DryPol system!
